UNITED STATES of America's MISS
United States of America's Miss- Gracie Rayner
Gracie Rayner is a 19-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada. The sister of 14 siblings, she is passionate about adoption and the foster care system in the nation. Over 1/2 of her family came from foster care/adoption. Always intrigued by science & medicine, Gracie knew from an early age that her career would take her in that direction. Combined with a love for children, she begins school in 2020 for Occupational Therapy, her goal is to reach those who are often overlooked in society. Giving them a voice is something she will focus on not only as a career but as your 2020 national titleholder. She has been an active volunteer for most of her life and believes that pageantry allows her the opportunity to bring attention to causes that need it. Believing that one person can make a difference, it takes a positive attitude and the willingness to put in the effort to make a change. She doesn’t like to limit herself to just one cause, but take advantage of the visibility her title gives her to make a difference when and where it may be needed.
Gracie has been modeling for most of her life. As a little girl, she signed with Wilhelmina in LA and worked for companies like Old Navy and The Disney Store among others. In 2018, she was one of the top 10 national Jovani It Girl finalists, signed with MMG in NYC, and was booked to walk in New York Fashion Week. Some of her other interests have included competitive cheer, pageants, singing, baking, and spending time with her brothers and sisters. Gracie challenges herself to try new things and has traveled to most parts of the country, played a zombie in an independent film, sang the National Anthem at an event, and learned to do trapeze. She believes that strong women shouldn’t have limits placed on their abilities, ever.
During her year as United States of America’s Miss, she will use her voice to convince others to use theirs. She considers herself a strong, relatable, confident, and optimistic role model and wants to show that no matter who you are or where you come from, you can reach your dreams. Stay strong and believe in yourself, especially when others may not and you can accomplish anything.
